Henry Kapono extended the offer to work with all interested teams this summer.  They have been invited to participate in a one-day workshop that will take place at the MELE Studios at Honolulu Community College. Henry has graciously offered to step through the songwriting and recording process during this session. James Anshutz , Music Teacher from Punahou School, also kindly offered to serve as the project manager for the summer session.”

Superhero CAD Winner

The CAD Kid wasn’t as helpful and interesting as it is now. It once started at a robot factory. These were massed produced robots that were meant for being a human’s assistants. A human named Gerald that worked at the hospital received his robot, he decided to name it CAD Kid. He was kinda upset about how boring, emotionless, and ugly it was. He decided to tweak his robot a lot so it would act, look, and be different than anyone else’s robot. He also gave it its own mind so it could do what it wants to as long as it is right. One day, Gerald broke a case for a custom defibrillator and he didn’t know what to do, because he had no spare parts and he couldn’t find any others anywhere. At that point, CAD Kid entered the room, took some 3d printing filament and used it. In a few minutes, CAD Kid made a brand new defibrillator case which was just as durable and functional as the original. Gerald decided to show this to the public and that was the day CAD Kid was born. CAD Kid can be found in any hospital or clinic that needs a life saving part. He can fix anything from an MRI to surgical equipment. Whenever there is a medical emergency that needs that special touch, CAD Kid to the rescue!
